Bird Watching programs to be held at Potomac Overlook

Bird-watchingis a growing pastime for millions of Americans! From the familiar birds of our backyards to rare migrants, there are numerous species in our area to watch and enjoy. Visit Potomac Overlook on Saturday, April 2^nd at 2 pm and Sunday April 10^th at 2 p.m. to enjoy two programs that are geared towards families and children interested in learning about our local birds, their habits and how and where to see them!

The programs will consist of a slideshow and then a walk in the woods to view our park birds and “target practice” with binoculars. We have a few pairs to loan out, but we recommend bringing your own if you have them!

Cost is $30/family. Included in the cost is a starter kit compliments of Lee/Harrison Wild Birds Unlimited!
