“Canoe the Marsh” With a Naturalist at Pohick Bay

The 4-hour naturalist-led “Canoe the Marsh” outing at Pohick Bay Regional Park is back for fall!  This fun and educational activity is a tradition in Northern Virginia, having begun more than 35 years ago!  Participants will receive the expert guidance of naturalists from the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority while they enjoy the beauty and biodiversity of Pohick Bay.  Spend a fall morning looking for eagles and herons as you glide through the marshes and up Pohick creekl

These trips are for adults and youth age 16 and older and the cost is $25 per person. Space is limited to 12 people per trip. The trips will be held at 8 a.m. – Noon on the following dates:

September trips- Sat., Sept. 18 and Sunday, Sept. 26

October trips- Sat., October 16  and Sun, October 31
