Embrace the Heat with Half Price Golf!
Fairfax, VA(July 23, 2010) – Who says you have to dread the heat? With over 40 days of temperatures in the 90-degree range so far this summer in the Washington metropolitan area, the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority is giving people a reason to look forward to the high temperatures.
For the rest of 2010, if the Accuweather Forecast for our area predicts a high of over 95 degrees, golf prices for walk on customers after 11 a.m. on Monday - Thursday will be half price. And to make the offer even better, every “embrace the heat golfer” will get an ice cold bottle of water as a gift for coming out to play.
While the offer for the rest of the year is for weekdays, to kick off this special, the same half price offer is good for this weekend, Saturday July 24th and Sunday July 25th for walk on customers after 11 a.m.
“With temperatures in the triple digit range, we thought this is the perfect time to roll out this unique program for the summer of 2010,” remarked Paul Gilbert, NVRPA Executive Director. With the shade from mature trees, if you use a golf cart and drink lots of water, you can have a fun time golfing even when it is hot. With this deal, golfers can play 18 holes with a cart for $25 or less at three top rated courses. Golfers in our area have not seen prices this low for high quality courses for decades. Remember the summer of 2010 for great golf deals in addition to hot temperatures.
