25th Annual Potomac Overlook Open House and Heritage Festival

Fairfax, VA (April 1, 2010) – On Sunday, May 2, from 1p.m. to 4, join Potomac Overlook for a wonderful springtime festival full of fun activities and exhibits for all ages!  This year marks the 25^th year of this event and will include live music, games, food, a juggler, community exhibits, art and the annual Taylor Elementary School maypole dance and much more.

“This event has become a tradition in Arlington, offering people a chance to enjoy the great outdoors and lots of fun activities in a beautiful setting,” said Martin Ogle, Chief Naturalist for the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority.  

In addition to the annual fare, this year’s open house will feature an exhibit on electric vehicles and many other energy-related topics.  The popular, hands-on (and feet-on) energy cycle activity will be part of this display.  There will also be guided tours highlighting energy conservation and renewable energy.
