While your campers (you) are enjoying our aquatic facilities, you can feel secure knowing that they are being closely monitored by licensed aquatics staff who are audited regularly. "Safety is golden" is the mantra of our staff, who receive considerably more training than most lifeguards in our area. They are regularly audited for safety-related indicators such as scan times, equipment readiness, and professionalism. In 2007, the National Aquatic Safety Company ranked the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority's aquatics staff as "World Class" after extensive auditing.
Directions: To reach Algonkian Regional Park from the Beltway (I-495), take Route 7 west 11 miles to Cascades Parkway north, and drive 3 miles to the park entrance.
