What are the camp dates and costs?

Potomac Overlook Rangers: (entering grades 8-11 in fall 2012)

Cost: $350

Monday - Friday, June 25 - June 29 (12 spots)

Junior Naturalist Camp: (entering grades 2-4 in fall 2012)

Cost: $300 In-Jurisdiction, $350 Out of Jurisdiction

Session I: July 9 - July 13 (18 spots)

Session II: August 13 - August 17 (18 spots)

Explorers Camp: (entering grades 5-7 in fall 2012)

Cost: $575 In-Jurisdiction, $650 Out of Jurisdiction

This is a single two-week camp that runs from July 23 - August 3, Monday - Friday (18 spots)

Can my child be a CIT?

Yes, we do have 4 CIT slots per session. CIT’s must be going into 8th grade or older. If you are interested in finding out more, please contact Casey Pittrizzi at cpittrizzi@nvrpa.org.

What are some examples of activities that you do during your camps?

Engaging activities include (but are not limited to) soil painting, nature journaling, stream hikes, aquatic studies, swimming, yoga, storytelling, campfires and s’mores, habitat restoration projects, canoeing, environmental films, skit presentations, drumming, solar oven snacks, scavenger hunts, painting, and much more!
