MEADOWLARK BOTANICAL GARDENS - NEEDS VOLUNTEERS!

Indoor and outdoor horticulture assignments for all skill levels await volunteers at the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority's Meadowlark Botanical Gardens, near Vienna, Virginia.

Hardy outdoor workers will find bulbs to plant, mulch to spread and flower beds to cultivate. Indoors, volunteers will help seedlings flourish in the greenhouse and Horticulture Building and perform clerical tasks.

Personal talents and interests determine assignments. Volunteers who serve four hours or more per month receive free admission to the gardens and invitations to special events. For information about volunteer horticulture opportunities, call 703-242-9425. To learn about volunteer opportunities in the gardens' Visitor Center and programs, call (703) 255-3631, ext. 301.
