Musical performances by local groups are held at the stage/field every other Saturday evening during the summer. There is no admission fee, but donations of $5+ per person are requested as they help fund the series. Picnic suppers are welcome (no alcohol, please). No reservations required. Performer Description: Randy Barrett is a three-way standout: top shelf songwriter, award-winning vocalist, and master of guitar and banjo. Randy's rich, soulful baritone has earned him several of Washington DC's Wammie Awards for Best Male Vocalist in Bluegrass and Traditional Folk as well as the 2002 Bluegrass Album of the Year for "Lights of Home". His songwriting has also won numerous awards, in particular for "Hold Me Forever" from his 1995 debut CD Each & Every Day. His songs have been recorded by Chesapeake, Grace Griffith, bluegrass group Auldridge, Bennett and Gaudreau, and Peg Loughran among others. Randy's stellar banjo and harmony vocals appear on the releases of several Falling Mountain artists.
