Must be available to work weekday, weekends and holidays. Assists with operation of facility by collecting fees for golf, golf cart rentals and resale items; taking golf reservations; operating cash registers and issuing fee receipt tickets; selling merchandise and maintaining shelf stock of supplies by loading and/or unloading supplies; dispensing of golf club rental equipment and golf cars, which may include lifting of heavy objects, and providing instructions on use; Assists with public relations by greeting park visitors, handling inquiries, and providing information and assistance, and informing patrons of rules and regulations; Answers telephone and directs inquiries; Assists with appearance of pro shop facilities by maintaining work area by cleaning and providing general care of equipment and grounds, cleaning restrooms facilities, emptying trash receptacles, dusting, cleaning windows, etc; Performing routine maintenance as directed; Attend and participate in staff meetings and in-service training; Reports unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty; Carries out additional duties as assigned by the Park Manager or Supervisor on Duty. Pohick Bay Golf Course – Lorton, VA The Golf Course Maintenance Worker will need to be available to work 40 hours a week , 6am to 2:30pm. Candidates must posses a valid driver's license. Golf Course and/or landscape experience a plus. $12.18 per hour. The Golf Course Maintenance Worker/Mechanic will need to be available to work 40 hours a week , 6am to 2:30pm/ Candidates must posses a valid driver's license. Golf Course and/or landscape experience a plus. The Mechanic will work 50% on maintenance and 50% on mechanics. Experience with small engines, blade sharpening and reel grinding is desirable. Shooting Trap attendant Bull Run Shooting Center -- Centreville, VA The Trapper will: * Assists with operation of facility by pulls targets for shooters and keeps scoring; loads target machines and keeps storage houses stocked; cleans storage houses and work areas; remove spent hulls from shooting stations; empties trash receptacles; weeds and maintains landscape areas; snow removal; limited operation of cash registers and issuing fee receipt tickets; limited selling of merchandise and maintaining shelf stock of supplies by loading and/or unloading supplies; monitors restroom appearance; * Registers and assists shooters * Ensures the safe operation of shooting area while they are pulling rounds * Answers telephone and directs inquiries * Performing routine maintenance as directed * Reports unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty * Carries out additional duties as assigned by the Park Manager or Supervisor on Duty Applicant must: * Be at least 18 years of age * Able to lift 50 pounds safely * Have some knowledge of the operation of a shooting range and associated equipment * AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKDAY, EVENINGS, WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS * Posses a valid driver's license (DMV check will be done).
