Mothers Day Tea at Carlyle

Treat your mother, grandmother or special woman in your life to an elegant afternoon tea at historic Carlyle House in Old Town Alexandria. Relax in the beautiful garden setting of our Magnolia Terrace and enjoy live classical harp music. Experience personalized tableside service and scrumptious food catered by Calling Card Events for a day she won’t soon forget. Guests will enjoy a menu of finger sandwiches, scones, banana or lemon tea bread, and a Mother's Day desserts of Petite Fours, Cheesecake with Strawberries and Powdered Shortbread Tea Cookies, all while sipping our special blend of spring teas from Tea & Spice Exchange of Alexandria. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 703-549-2997 or e-mailing carlyle@nvrpa.org. Please give your preference for the 11am or 3pm seating times. The event is $27/person.
